Installation estimate
and service terms
A clear guide to what is included, what you need to prepare and how site-specific work is handled.
Effective 13 August 2026
1. Estimate and booking
The website estimate is a planning guide based on the information and options you select. It is not a final quotation or booking confirmation. SeQure will confirm the scope, price, timing and site requirements after reviewing the information, photos or videos supplied. A booking is confirmed only when SeQure accepts it in writing.
2. Standard installation scope
A standard installation applies where the sauna, access route and installation area match the information supplied by the customer and the site is safe, clear and ready when our team arrives. The final quotation identifies the model and any additional options included.
Indoor Kiva saunas
Unless the final quotation states otherwise, a standard indoor installation includes:
- opening the sauna cartons and unpacking the components at the installation area;
- checking the delivered components for obvious visible damage or shortages before assembly;
- full assembly of the manufacturer-supplied sauna structure, door, roof, benches, internal fittings and accessories that form part of the standard model;
- connecting manufacturer-supplied plug-and-play leads and components that do not require licensed electrical work;
- establishing the heater position and installing the manufacturer-supplied mounting hardware where required by the model’s assembly instructions;
- careful final positioning on a flat, level, smooth and structurally suitable surface, where the assembled sauna can be safely moved into place;
- basic operational testing and visual checks where the correct compliant power supply is available at the time of installation;
- removal of assembly debris and consolidation of the product packaging neatly onsite; and
- a basic customer handover covering the installed components and initial use.
The heater itself remains sealed in its original box for the licensed electrician. Opening, fitting, wiring and commissioning the heater are not included in the standard installation.
Complete removal and disposal of indoor cardboard, foam, plastic or other packaging is not included in the standard installation price. It is an optional service and must be selected and confirmed in the final quotation.
Outdoor Kiva saunas
Unless the final quotation states otherwise, a standard outdoor installation includes:
- opening the delivery crate and unpacking the sauna components at or within the handling distance stated in the quotation;
- checking the delivered components for obvious visible damage or shortages before assembly;
- full assembly of the manufacturer-supplied sauna structure, door, roof system, benches, internal fittings and standard accessories;
- establishing the heater position and installing the manufacturer-supplied mounting hardware where required by the model’s assembly instructions;
- connecting manufacturer-supplied plug-and-play components that do not require licensed electrical work;
- careful positioning on a prepared, flat, level, stable and structurally suitable hard base;
- basic operational testing and visual checks where the correct compliant power supply is available;
- one thin coat of CUTEK® CD50 to accessible exposed external timber, where weather and timber conditions are suitable;
- removal of assembly debris and consolidation of the wooden crate and packaging neatly onsite; and
- a basic customer handover covering the installed components and initial use.
The heater itself remains sealed in its original box for the licensed electrician. Opening, fitting, wiring and commissioning the heater are not included in the standard installation.
Complete removal and disposal of an outdoor wooden crate or packaging is not included in the standard installation price. It is an optional service and must be selected and confirmed in the final quotation.
Not included in a standard installation
Unless expressly listed in the final quotation, a standard installation does not include licensed electrical work, new power outlets, hardwiring, switchboard work, plumbing, gas work, foundations, slabs, decking, structural alterations, excavation, crane or hoist services, balcony lifting, product modification, repairs to damaged or defective products, additional coatings, relocation after handover or removal of unrelated waste. Licensed electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrical contractor and is quoted separately.
Standard access and additional charges
The standard price assumes safe, unobstructed ground-level access, suitable working clearance and handling within the distance selected in the estimator and confirmed in the quotation. Stairs, steep slopes, narrow passages, balconies, lifts with restrictions, long carries, difficult turns, restricted parking, manual lifting beyond a safe standard scope, work above ground level, confined spaces or other site-specific requirements may require extra labour, equipment or time. These conditions must be disclosed before booking and may attract an additional charge or require a separate site-specific quotation. SeQure will explain any variation and obtain approval before additional chargeable work proceeds.
3. Before we arrive
Please ensure that:
- the correct sauna and all components, fixings and manufacturer instructions have been delivered;
- the access route and work area are clear, safe and accurately represented in the information supplied;
- the installation base is flat, level, stable, structurally suitable and ready;
- outdoor models have at least 500 mm temporary working clearance around the sauna, with enough space for safe ladder and roof work;
- required approvals, site preparation and licensed trade work have been completed; and
- a responsible adult can provide access at the agreed time.
4. Access, safety and weather
SeQure may delay, reschedule or stop work if access is unavailable, conditions are unsafe, working clearance is insufficient or weather makes outdoor work unsafe or unsuitable. We will communicate changes as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Price changes and additional work
The final price is based on the agreed scope and the information supplied. Restricted access, stairs, slopes, long carrying distances, unsuitable bases, missing or damaged parts, confined space, additional labour, return visits, regional travel or services not included in the quotation may require a price variation. SeQure will explain the variation and obtain approval before additional chargeable work proceeds.
6. Product and supplier issues
Kiva Wellness remains responsible for product sales, delivery and manufacturer warranty support. SeQure is not responsible for a product defect, missing or incorrect component, unsuitable manufacturer instruction or delivery issue, but will take reasonable care and help identify the issue. If work cannot continue, a return visit may be charged where the cause was not created by SeQure.
7. Electrical work
Electrical information shown for each model is a planning reference. Any electrical estimate is subject to a licensed contractor reviewing switchboard capacity, cable route, distance, access and compliance requirements. Electrical timing differs between indoor and outdoor installations and will be confirmed with the final schedule.
8. Packaging and site condition
Packaging removal is included only when selected and confirmed before installation. Hazardous waste, unrelated rubbish and materials not generated by the sauna delivery are excluded. SeQure will take reasonable care of the work area and may document pre-existing product or property condition before work starts.
9. Cancellations and failed attendance
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A reasonable call-out or cancellation fee may apply where less notice is given, or where SeQure attends but cannot proceed because access, site readiness, product availability or another agreed customer responsibility has not been met. Any fee will reflect the reasonable loss or work involved.
10. Payment and timing
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. A deposit may be required for larger jobs, purchased materials or regional travel. Installation times are estimates and may change because of product complexity, weather, access, missing components, supplier issues or circumstances outside reasonable control.
11. Workmanship warranty and support
SeQure provides a 12-month workmanship warranty from the installation completion date for both private and commercial installations. It covers faults confirmed to have resulted from the sauna assembly work performed by SeQure.
What SeQure will do
If an issue is confirmed as a fault in SeQure’s workmanship, SeQure will rectify the affected installation work at no charge within a reasonable time. Customers will not be expected to determine responsibility before asking for assistance.
Reporting and assessment
Please notify SeQure promptly after discovering a concern and provide a description, photographs and video where reasonably possible. SeQure will review the quotation, installation records, completion photographs, manufacturer instructions and available evidence. An onsite inspection may be arranged where the cause cannot reasonably be determined remotely.
SeQure must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify an alleged workmanship issue before another person alters or repairs the affected work, except where urgent action is reasonably necessary to protect people or property. The customer must take reasonable steps to prevent avoidable further damage.
How responsibility is determined
An issue is generally installation-related where it results from incorrect assembly, alignment, fixing or positioning by SeQure, or from SeQure not following the manufacturer-supplied assembly instructions.
An issue is generally product-related where it results from a defective, damaged, missing or unsuitable manufacturer-supplied component, material, control, heater, electrical item, design or manufacturing fault. SeQure will document relevant observations and cooperate with Kiva Wellness so the customer can be directed to the appropriate support pathway.
Licensed electrical work is assessed separately by the electrical contractor who performed that work. Where the cause is unclear or may involve more than one party, SeQure will cooperate with Kiva Wellness and the relevant contractor to investigate before responsibility is assigned.
What the workmanship warranty does not cover
- product, component, design or manufacturing faults handled through Kiva Wellness or the manufacturer;
- licensed electrical work or other work performed by another contractor;
- pre-existing damage, hidden defects or unsuitable foundations, flooring, drainage, ventilation, power supply or site conditions not created by SeQure;
- movement, relocation, adjustment, alteration or repair of the sauna by another person after completion;
- misuse, neglect, failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions, or use outside the product’s intended environment;
- normal timber movement, checking, expansion, contraction, colour change, weathering, maintenance requirements or ordinary wear and tear; or
- damage caused by water ingress, weather, pests, impact, accident or another external event, except to the extent the damage was caused or contributed to by SeQure’s workmanship.
If an inspection shows that the issue is outside SeQure’s workmanship warranty, any proposed call-out, investigation or additional work charge will be explained and agreed before chargeable work proceeds.
12. Australian Consumer Law
SeQure’s services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
These terms work together with the final quotation and any model-specific inclusions. If they differ, the expressly agreed quotation applies to that job.
