Outdoor timber protection

Outdoor timber starts facing sun, rain and temperature changes immediately. That’s why every standard Retreat and Ritual installation includes one thin coat of Australian-made CUTEK® CD50 on exposed, accessible external timber after assembly.
Application is subject to suitable timber and weather conditions. Additional coats or CUTEK® Colourtone can be quoted separately. Ongoing maintenance remains essential.

We specify a premium penetrating exterior timber oil and apply one thin coat to accessible exposed timber after assembly when timber and weather conditions are suitable. Additional coats and colourtone can be quoted separately.

What does standard installation include?
We unpack and professionally assemble your Kiva sauna, fit the supplied standard components, position it safely, complete available non-electrical checks, tidy the work area and walk you through the finished installation. Exact inclusions vary between indoor and outdoor models, while electrical work, heater installation and complete packaging removal are handled separately where required.

A flat, level, stable and structurally suitable hard surface is required. Outdoor saunas must not be installed directly on grass. Allow at least 500mm temporary working clearance around the entire outdoor sauna for ladders, assembly and roof placement.
Can you organise electrical work?
Yes. Licensed electrical work can be coordinated and quoted separately after we review your sauna model, switchboard and proposed cable route.
What happens to the packaging?
We consolidate packaging neatly onsite as standard. Complete rubbish and packaging removal is available for $89–$129 for indoor models, depending on size, and $199 for outdoor wooden crates and packaging. It must be selected before installation day.
